A workshop in the big studio at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology
Workshops are taught at various locations across the country and intimate classes are taught in my studio. The focus is always on helping students develop their own voice and find their own solutions.
The workshop at the Black Ridge Artists' School is being rescheduled for the Fall.

Ongoing classes in my Portland, Oregon studio:
Your Studio: Philosophy, Technique, Materials

Exploring the fundamentals of painting, drawing, and personal expression, we will walk the line between technique and intuition to develop your individual hand and eye. Using the still life in the studio and flexible assignments, we will paint, draw, make a mess, and talk about it. Class is for all levels from beginners to advanced with instruction tailored to the individual student’s needs and goals.
