STILL LIFE
Having seen what a series of small paintings did for a good friend, I wanted to see what they could do for me. They were to be small, executed in a single sitting however long, and always from life. The initial aim, to train my hand and my eye, to return to some of the basics of image making. The results have surprised me to say the least. I have been most surprised by the meat. Though they have evolved, these are humble pieces.
Especially true of this line of work, this is far from a complete catalog.
